Health & Human Services Interpreter
This course is designed to familiarize bilingual individuals with professional interpreting techniques, ethics and legal considerations for interpreting in health and social services settings. Text Required. Course is offered in three 2-day Modules:
I) Professional Skills for Interpreters,

II) Interpret Skills Improvement ( prerequisite Module I),

III) Anatomy/Physiology & Medical Terminology for Health/Human Services Interpreter.

Prerequisites: Ability to communicate effectively in English and any other languages(s).
Costs includes $65 registration fee plus textbook
