Admissions
Quick Facts for Spring, 2010 Registration
Important Notes:
* APPLY NOW in Student Services for the Spring semester! The admissions process to CVCC may take from one to three weeks depending on your needs. The Student Services Office is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00-6:00 and Friday from 8:00-5:00. A photo ID is required for application processing, program changes, placement testing and all services at Student Records.
* Students are assigned a CVCC email account within 48 hours of their visit with an Admissions Counselor. Students are personally responsible for logging on to that email account and reading its contents as CVCC shares valuable information through this email account.
For students who are “NEW TO CVCC” or returning students who have been out more than ONE year, prepare for enrollment by completing the following steps NOW to avoid lengthy wait times in Student Services:
- Complete the online CVCC application at http://www1.cfnc.org/Applications/nc_community_college/apply.html?application_id=1487
- Visit with an Admissions Counselor in Student Services (bring a photo ID),
- Request that your official high school/college transcripts be sent to CVCC using http://www.cvcc.edu/Admissions/pdf/PreviousSchoolTranscriptRequest.pdf
- Prepare for and take placement tests (if needed),
- Prepare for financial aid – FAFSA filing deadline for Spring is October 15.
