Nov. 21 Cheerleading Camp for Girls 6-14

Girls age 6 to 14 are invited to participate in a Cheerleading Clinic hosted by Catawba Valley Community College’s Athletic Department, Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The clinic will be held in the college’s Multipurpose Complex, which is located on the main campus in Hickory.

CVCC cheerleaders and staff will lead the clinic which focuses on games, chants and dances. Participants will have the opportunity to cheer at the CVCC men’s home basketball game that afternoon.

The fee is $15 per person and includes a souvenir t-shirt.

CVCC cheerleaders are certified in cheerleading safety and competition judging. They are available to judge tryouts or help area schools or recreation teams.
